Jimi Hendrix

No one has made music like Jimi Hendrix - before or since. What's striking is that no one even tries to sound like him. His music exists in its own category entirely, creative and feeling and completely free.

His face while he is playing is fascinating to me. I have painted him three times now, and I know I will paint him more.
